Strengthening Law Enforcement
NFSU Uganda Campus and the Uganda Police Force signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a structured training programme for police officers in forensic investigation, digital evidence handling, and crime scene processing.
Training Components
- Crime Scene Investigation: Evidence collection, documentation, and chain of custody management
- Digital Forensics: Mobile device examination, data recovery, and social media investigation
- Courtroom Forensics: Expert witness testimony preparation and forensic report writing
The first cohort of 50 officers is expected to begin training in January 2026.
