NFSU Uganda Signs MoU with Uganda Police Force for Forensic Training

A landmark Memorandum of Understanding was signed between NFSU Uganda Campus and the Uganda Police Force to provide specialized forensic investigation training for serving officers.

Strengthening Law Enforcement

NFSU Uganda Campus and the Uganda Police Force signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a structured training programme for police officers in forensic investigation, digital evidence handling, and crime scene processing.

Training Components

  • Crime Scene Investigation: Evidence collection, documentation, and chain of custody management
  • Digital Forensics: Mobile device examination, data recovery, and social media investigation
  • Courtroom Forensics: Expert witness testimony preparation and forensic report writing

The first cohort of 50 officers is expected to begin training in January 2026.
