Historic Inauguration
On 12th April 2023, the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) Campus at Jinja, Uganda was officially inaugurated by the Hon'ble External Affairs Minister of India, Dr. S. Jaishankar. The event marked a historic milestone in India-Uganda bilateral relations and higher education cooperation.
The campus is the first-ever overseas campus of any Indian public university, reflecting India's commitment to capacity building in forensic sciences and security across the African continent.
Distinguished Guests
The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior government officials from both India and Uganda, members of the diplomatic corps, academic leaders, and representatives from law enforcement agencies.
