Why NFSU (I) Campus Uganda?

Why NFSU (I) Campus Uganda?

Choosing NFSU Uganda means joining a one-of-a-kind institution that bridges Indian academic excellence with African aspirations for modern security and justice systems.

A Historic First

NFSU Uganda is India's very first offshore campus of a public university, established under a bilateral agreement between the Government of India and the Government of Uganda. This means our degrees carry the weight and recognition of an Institution of National Importance as designated by the Indian Parliament.

Addressing Critical Gaps

Africa faces unprecedented challenges in cybercrime, forensic investigation backlogs, border security, and digital evidence management. NFSU Uganda directly addresses these gaps by training professionals in:

  • Cybercrime Investigation — digital forensics, network security, and cyber law
  • Forensic Science — crime scene processing, DNA analysis, toxicology
  • Security Studies — counter-terrorism, intelligence analysis, border management
